its been a while

Good evening folks, iv been busy with work so i have not managed to get on.
however the past week has been hectic but well worth it.
last wednesday saw me head up to stornoway overnight, 3 buses, a lorry ride and a trip on muirneag saw me reach stornoway at 8:30am after leaving glasgow 12hrs previously and with no sleep in 24hrs

freight vessel MV Muirneag having dropped me off sits at her berth

however there was no rest for me, i was there to get pictures of the MV Clansman at stornoway whilst covering for the MV Isle of Lewis which is away for drydocking in birkenhead

it was then back on friday, and then back to work on saturday and sunday.
monday though took me to the east coast and aberdeen in order to get, yep thats right the MV Clansman arriving at aberdeen for her own overhaul, however Isle of Lewis has not returned so the MV Hebridean Isles has been drafted in to cover the stornoway - ullapool route at the moment.

Monday 9th January

Well after a few days of the Ardrossan to Brodick run, the LOTI has settled in well for it being her first time on the service.
She is coping fine with the loadings that are being presented and so far the weather has been reasonably kind to her, so with her doing so well could we see her back down next year??.
Well I hope so, she is the hard worked in the fleet and deserves a wee quiet spell!!
